As many Warzone players know, the M1 Garand and STG44 from Vanguard were officially added to the Season 6 Battle Pass. For those wanting to know how good they are and where they fit in the meta, JGOD’s latest video details just that.

Warzone Season 6 has introduced Verdansk map changes, new weapons, and the Haunting event for all players to enjoy during Black Ops Cold War‘s final season.

As many may know, the developers recently decided to introduce the M1 Garand and STG44 in Warzone ahead of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release.

In JGOD’s latest video, he looks into these weapons, breaking their stats down to decide whether they will be high in the weapon meta for Season 6.

The STG44 and M1 Garand are now available for players to unlock in the Season 6 Battle Pass, but one thing that’s important to note is that they are only available as weapon blueprints.

This means that players will not be able to customize the weapons to their best potential fully, so this is, of course, going to reflect on their viability in the Season 6 weapon meta.

JGOD’s video shows off the blueprints available for both the M1 Garand and STG44, presenting details such as their damage profiles, bullet velocity, and recoil.

M1 Garand stats

The M1 Garand blueprint, called “White Obsidian,” has some pretty strong visual recoil, but the actual recoil is minimal. This means you will be able to stay on target with this weapon pretty easily, as long as you can look past the visual recoil.

JGOD says that the bullet velocity for the M1 Garand is “kinda slow” but would probably be much better with “the right attachments.” As for the RPM, the M1 Garand is trigger capped at 411, which isn’t bad.

The damage profile for the M1 Garand is pretty competitive, even without customizing the attachments. All in all, the M1 Garand will take three to five shots to kill, and with headshots, JGOD says the M1 Garand can have some pretty “insane TTKs.”

JGOD feels the M1 Garand will be a great medium to close range semi-automatic weapon in Warzone, but as for the weapon blueprint currently available, it won’t be at the top of the weapon meta.

STG44 stats

As for the STG44, players get two different builds in the Battle Pass. One longer ranged and one for short range. JGOD used the “Warning Tracks” blueprint to test as this will give more accurate stats for the weapon being used as an Assault Rifle, whereas the close-range build is more of an SMG/Sniper Support build.

Overall, the STG44 has an RPM of 600, taking around “five to seven-shot to kill up close, and six to eight at range.” JGOD says that the stats for the STG44 are “almost exactly like the AK-47,” with pretty strong TTK numbers.

Having said that, once again, these weapons are blueprints, and the “Warning Tracks” STG44 weapon blueprint only has a magazine size of 30 rounds, which is not great for Warzone.

So, it seems these weapon blueprints aren’t too bad, and the weapons themselves may be pretty competitive when they release, and players can tweak the attachments.
