Vanguard players are reporting aim assist issues in the multiplayer mode which is making the game “unplayable.”

Despite recent updates and the ultimate delay of Season 2, Vanguard players are continuing to experience issues that have supposedly been in the game since launch.

With Ranked play coming soon to the game, players are hoping for fixes, with players calling for the devs to look into an aim assist bug that is making the game “unplayable.”

Reddit user Proud_Penguin123 reported the aim assist bug to the Vanguard subreddit with the intention of “trying to raise awareness for it.”

Apparently, this issue has been happening since the start of Season 1 and is causing something funky to happen with aim assist for players on console. The user is reporting that they are not getting any “aim assist slowdown” when dragging aim over enemy players.

The explains in the post that they are experiencing the issues on Xbox Series X, and that they know they are “not the only player experiencing this,” as their brother is having the same problem.

Others in the comments are also sharing similar experiences, with one comment stating: “Same issue here with the Series X. I’ve tried everything including testing a new controller. Whatever it is the aim is off and it’s unplayable. Even with crossplay off it’s too frustrating to play so I’ve given up.”

Players are even experiencing the same issue on other consoles as well, as some comments under the post suggest that the bug is also on PlayStation.

It seems the issue may be much bigger and something that the devs will hopefully be aware of. Whenever a fix is available, we will be sure to cover it so stay tuned.
