Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 4 brought some extremely powerful weapons to the mix, such as the C58 Assault Rifle and Nail Gun. Season 5 has finally been revealed, and it will be bringing a new arsenal of weapons for players to use in battle.

Fans first spotted the TEC-9 Pistol when the key art for Warzone and Cold War Season 5 was leaked. The brand-new Operator was seen wielding the automatic pistol Akimbo in both the artwork and the teaser trailer.

The Tec-9 was then officially confirmed in the Season 5 announcement blog post, and according to its official description, it is a “Semi-auto submachine gun. Improved accuracy from longer ranges with low recoil and slower fire rate. Good damage output with moderate range.”

The Marshal secondary weapon was spotted in the Season 5 cinematic being used by Woods and was then confirmed to be one of the Warzone and Cold War Season 5 weapons in the roadmap announcement.

Reddit user Vengance183 spotted what appears to be the British EM-1 in the Season 5 cinematic. This was an experimental weapon from the 1940s and was considered high-tech for its day.

One of the Warzone and Cold War Season 5 weapons is carried by Woods’ mysterious new squad member, and we get a good view when he drops it after using it as a club. Vengance183 paused the cinematic here, and we can see that it bears a striking resemblance to the EM-1 Rifle.

However, the Season 5 announcement blog post confirmed that this weapon is actually the EM2 Assault Rifle that is described as a “full-auto assault rifle. Well-rounded British rifle with good firing control. Built in low-zoom optic improves accuracy. Slower fire rate with reliable range.”

New Warzone Combat Scout Tempered Perks

Perks are a cornerstone of the Call of Duty: Warzone experience but have not undergone any major changes since the game’s release. However, Season 5 of Warzone will see the new Combat Scout and Tempered perks make their arrival in the Call of Duty battle royale.

Perks are essential for success in Call of Duty: Warzone as they provide you with beneficial bonuses that can be the difference between losing or winning.

However, the perks for the battle royale have not undergone any major changes. The same ones have dominated the meta throughout the life of Warzone, causing players to call for a major rework of the perk system.

However, Season 5 will be making a big change to the perk system in the Call of Duty battle royale with the arrival of the new Combat Scout and Tempered perks, bringing new gameplay opportunities for players to experience, and we have everything you need to know about them covered.

Combat Scout Perk

The first of the new perks is called Combat Scout, and this one provides a treasure trove of information to players when they damage an enemy.

Players who have the Combat Scout perk equipped will cause an enemy they damage to be highlighted in orange briefly and automatically be pinged.

Players who use the Combat Scout perk will ensure they know where enemies they have damaged are going and can avoid getting ambushed when rushing after them to finish the kill.

Tempered Perk

Armor is another staple of the Call of Duty battle royale, and the new Tempered perk will make some dramatic changes to armor values in Warzone.

Players who have the Tempered perk equipped will see that their armor plates will be able to absorb 75 points of damage instead of the standard 50, which means players will only need two plates of armor to be full health and will be able to heal faster and get back into fights quicker.

However, players who use the Tempered perk will only be able to have two armor plates equipped at one time and will have to dedicate their perk 2 slot to Tempered to take advantage of its armor reinforcement bonus.
