Call of Duty: Warzone will be updated to support PS5 and Xbox Series X

In an interview with GamerGen (via CODTracker), Infinity Ward has confirmed that fans who are looking at getting the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X this holiday will be able to still play Call of Duty: Warzon.

Infinity Ward’s Narrative Director says that the studio will be working to update Call of Duty: Warzone in order to support the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

He says that with their content plans for the future of Warzone, he’s ‘sure’ that it includes PS5 and Xbox Series X as part of that.

TK: I know that our plan is Warzone is going to be around for quite some time, so as soon as those new systems are out and available I’m sure we’ll support them.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are set to launch in Holiday 2020. A release date for the systems has not been confirmed yet.

Warzone cheat provider CrazyAim taken down by Activision

Activision has taken aim at a cheater provider for Warzone as their site and discord have been shut down.

Warzone August 2 update patch notes

A popular Warzone cheat provider website has been taken down by Activision on August 4. The site was providing aim bot and other hacks for Warzone as a paid service.

The site, called, was providing a variety of cheats for Call of Duty players, with focus on Warzone hacks.

Their site now no longer exists, as it appears Activision has taken it down. Visiting their site sends a site error.

In addition, we’ve confirmed the site’s Discord server, where the users and owners would discuss the cheats and hacks, has also been shut down.

This is a small, but good step from Activision in the fight against the dramatic increase in hackers and cheaters in Warzone.

Some big content creators have been upset over the hacks and switched to Apex Legends instead.

It’s still not clear if Activision plans to launch a proper anti-cheat for Warzone.

The company’s executives have said in the past that they have “invested” a lot into fixing the hacking problem.

The last update from Raven on ban waves was in mid July, where they said 50,000 accounts were banned.

Modern Warfare players disappointed with Soap Operator after long wait

The new Soap Operator is officially out for Modern Warfare and Warzone, but some players aren’t satisfied with the way he looks.

modern warfare soap

Modern Warfare and Warzone players have finally been gifted the long-awaited Soap Operator, but some believe it doesn’t quite look right.

As well as the new CX-9 SMG and Mace, players have been enjoying Warzone and Modern Warfare in 2021.

For those who like the cosmetics, you may have been waiting for the new Modern Warfare Soap operator to drop. However, players don’t seem to be satisfied with it.

modern warfare soap operator

Reddit user oBeruno put a post up showing the issue with the new Modern Warfare Soap operator, stating, “Insert shampoo/detergent joke here.”

Ultimately many think that the new Modern Warfare Soap operator looks nothing like the original Soap from the original Modern Warfare series and wished he had a more similar look from the past.

The developers have either reworked the character and decided to change his appearance, or they have genuinely tried to recreate the classic Modern Warfare character and it just has not sit well with a large portion of the Call of Duty community.

When compared to the original Soap, they do genuinely look nothing alike, and you can see why people are jokingly calling this new Soap operator “shampoo/detergent.”

Players in the comments carried on the joke as well, with some saying: “That ain’t soap that’s deodorant.” Some were genuinely confused, asking: “That’s actually supposed to be soap?…”

Ultimately we think players are just dissatisfied with the detail in the character model, as the original Modern Warfare Soap has way more detail and depth, with a scar on his eye and a more recognizable face.

It’s a shame players aren’t happy with the new Modern Warfare Soap model. Hopefully, the developers can do something about it and give players more of a reason to buy the new operator.
