Best Perks in Warzone Season 5
ActivisionChoosing the best Perks in Warzone can be difficult given the wide array available. Opting for the meta picks is a great strategy but you’ll also want to factor in which options best suit your playstyle.
To help you, we’ve created a list that ranks all the available Perks in Warzone Season 5.
Best Warzone Perks ranked
Slot 1 & 2 Perks
- Double Time
- Mountaineer
- Sleight of Hand
- Battle Hardened
- Irradiated
- Focus
- Shrapnel
- E.O.D.
- Mechanic
- Spotter
- Strong Arm
- Scavenger
Given that Slot 1 and Slot 2 in the Perk Package shared the same Perk pool, strategically combining them is the key to success. We picked Double Time and Mountaineer as the top two, allowing you to jump from a greater height without receiving substantial damage and increase your Tac Sprint duration.
However, Battle Hardened and Irradiated are also great for increasing your survivability in gunfights both in and out of the gas. The first one will reduce the effect of Equipment thrown at you, while the second will reduce gas damage, increase movement speed in the gas, and allow you to equip armor in the gas.
Players who are eager to take on one gunfight after the next won’t want to sleep on Sleight of Hand either. It pairs well with any of the top five options in Slots 1 and 2.
Slot 3 Perks
- Tempered
- Quick Fix
- Cold-Blooded
- Tracker
- Survivor
- Primed
- Resupply
- Stalker
- Escapist
- Payout
Despite the varied options, the best Warzone Perk for Slot 3 is Tempered. This Perk will allow you to reach maximum health faster by only requiring two plates instead of the default three.
However, Quick Fix and Cold-Blooded are also great picks for this Slot. Quick Fix will trigger health regeneration right after killing an enemy, allowing you to take on fights in quick succession.
Meanwhile, Cold-Blooded’s best feature is that it allows you to look and aim at players who are using High Alert without alerting them.
Slot 4 Perks
- High Alert
- Resolute
- Ghost
- Birdseye
- Flex
- Combat Scout
- Shrouded
The best Perk to run in Slot 4 is High Alert, which will alert you via a vision pulse surrounding your screen when an enemy has spotted you. The pulse has saved me several times, heightening my senses and allowing me to react to incoming threats quickly.
The only runner-up for this Slot is Resolute, which is a great option if you’re constantly moving and confronting opponents, as it will provide a 5% movement speed increase when taking damage from enemies.
Best Perk Package in Warzone
- Perk 1: Double Time
- Perk 2: Mountaineer
- Perk 3: Tempered
- Perk 4: High Alert
The best Perk Package features Double Time which allows you to move quicker around the map, doubling the duration of the Tac Sprint feature.
Mountaineer is my favorite of the bunch, as it doubles the height you can jump from without taking fall damage. It has saved my life countless times during Rebirth Island’s chaotic gameplay.
Tempered will allow you to reach full health with two plates instead of three. Lastly, High Alert is a must, letting you know through vision pulses when an enemy has spotted you.
Keep in mind that the selection depends on how you play, so feel free to change any Perk to suit your playstyle.
Every default Perk explained
- Overkill: Allows you to pick two Primary Weapons.
- Tac Pads: Improves slide distance, allows ADS while sliding, and increases the Tac Stance transition speed.
- Commando Gloves: Enables reloading while running.
- Quick-Grip Gloves: Increases your weapon swap speed.
- Climbing Boots: Increases climbing and mantling speed.
Warzone has five Perks that are always active by default, meaning they will be functional as soon as you drop into the map, regardless of how you customize your loadout.
The best Perks are nothing without the best controller and audio settings to take your game to the next level.
