Bizarre Warzone 2 glitch is making helicopters spontaneously explode
Warzone 2 players are being left completely dumbfounded by a bizarre helicopter glitch that causes the vehicle to blow up and kill the player without warning.
Vehicles such as helicopters are a great way to traverse Al Mazrah in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and can be instrumental in getting you out of danger or closer to your intended target – be that a Loadout or a Strongholds.
Thanks to the revamped fuel system in Warzone 2, you can’t just endlessly parade around the map in the vehicle of your choosing. However, that may not be the biggest problem anymore as one CoD Reddit user showed.
It now seems to be entirely possible to fly around the game’s map and suddenly hit an invisible brick wall, destroying the helicopter and killing players instantly.
Sarcastically declaring that the game is operated by a “small dev team,” Reddit user latenitelover proceeded to demonstrate to the game’s community the unexpectedly harmful effects of flying helicopters in Warzone 2.
In an attached video, the user showed themself flying towards one of the game’s POIs, and everything is going smoothly. Then without any provocation or warning, the helicopter appears to crash into an invisible wall, causing the vehicle to explode and send the player to the Gulag.
The comments section then took turns to take shots at Activision with one player sarcastically calling them an “Extremely small team of 3,000 with a minuscule 3 years of dev time and backed with barely 3 billion dollars.”
Another player commented referenced the glitch as returning from the OG Warzone, saying: “the company keeps on making the same exact mistakes.”
Along with recent glitches that have caused players to be left permanently downed and also mysteriously shadowban players for reaching 10 kills, the devs have more than a few issues to sort out at present.
