CoD devs reveal Lara Croft Operator in Warzone & Modern Warfare 2 Tomb Raider collab
ActivisionCall of Duty officially revealed that Tomb Raider’s legendary protagonist Lara Croft will arrive in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone as a new playable Operator.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 have brought a lot of content that players have been enjoying, including a new weapon roster like the FR Avancer, Carrack .300, and M13C, as well as the Vondel Nuke contract, new maps, and new modes.
Given the fiasco with recent celebrity and content creator bundles, which ended up being removed from the game, players may not have expected to see any new licensed bundles coming to Call of Duty.
However, with the addition of three well-known celebrities as Operators in the game during Season 5, it has been clear that collaborations in Warzone and MW2 haven’t ended.
On August 23, Call of Duty officially confirmed that a new licensed operator will arrive in the game. The upcoming Operator is none other than the iconic protagonist of the Tomb Raider franchise, Lara Croft.
Since the release of Warzone, players have received various collaborations with other video game franchises, celebrities, and sports legends, such as Messi, Neymar Jr., and Kevin Durant.
While some have caused controversy, due to their unlikely relationship with Call of Duty and its content, others have been very well received, even attracting new players to the game, as could be the case with Lara Croft, once it launches in MW2 and Warzone.
At the moment we do not have details of when it will arrive or what the bundle will be like in the game, Lara Croft should be a sought-after Operator in the games. Keep an eye on our guide on how to get the Lara Croft Operator in MW2 and Warzone.
