The long-awaited anti-cheat for Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard has been teased, and it might even be here sooner than expected.

CoD: Warzone has been plagued with cheaters and hackers for months. So much so that some of the internet’s largest streamers have abandoned the game. This is mainly due to Warzone’s lack of anti-cheat programming.

The cheaters even managed to make their way into the CoD: Vanguard beta. Again, no anti-cheat was there to stop them. Activision has banned players in waves, but that’s only a temporary solution.

However, CoD promised to implement an anti-cheat when it announced Vanguard. We do know Warzone and Vanguard will implement the anti-cheat this year, alongside a new Warzone Pacific map.

Yet, Activision hasn’t announced a specific time or release date window, but a new tease from the franchise promises more information on the anti-cheat will arrive on October 13, 2021.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard Anti-Cheat teased

Today, the Call of Duty Twitter had a special message to share with cheaters. The tweet was accompanied by an image that read as follows:

“Dear Cheaters, we love games. It’s our passion. We’re honored to make games for the greatest fans in the world. We don’t always get it right, but we’re committed to doing our best.

Cheating ruined the fun for everyone. No one likes a cheater. Our goal is to deliver a fun and fair gaming experience for our developers. For our fans. And most importantly… for Call of Duty Players everywhere.

Cheaters aren’t welcome. There’s no tolerance for cheaters, and soon you’ll know what we mean.”

Call of Duty captioned the tweet, “See you tomorrow.” This could mean that Call of Duty will give an update on the status of the impending anti-cheat. Optimistically, it could mean that the Call of Duty community is getting the Warzone anti-cheat tomorrow.

Regardless, any news about the Warzone and Vanguard anti-cheat is essential. The next generation of Call of Duty is about to begin, and it needs to start without hackers.
