As many players will know, Call of Duty: Warzone will be getting a brand new anti-cheat to help combat hackers. Here are some of the most popular Warzone content creator’s reactions to RICOCHET.

As many players will know by now, Call of Duty: Warzone will be getting a brand new anti-cheat called RICOCHET, which will arrive around the same time as the Vanguard integration and new map.

This new security protocol by the developers at Call of Duty has sparked debate across the community, as well as popular Warzone streamers and YouTubers like JGOD and CourRageJD giving their reactions.

Popular Warzone YouTuber JGOD, who often provides in-depth stats for weapons and attachments, recently put out a tweet responding to the new RICOCHET anti-cheat.

The Tweet expressed excitement for the anti-cheat and Vanguard integration, saying, “I really cant wait until the Anti-Cheat Drop with the integration.”

JGOD is famous for his in-depth stats and guides. Thanks to the new RICOCHET anti-cheat, he also made a joke about dropping tip videos for those who realize people are just better than them and not cheating.

Another reaction came from CouRageJD, who was so fed up with cheaters and hackers in Warzone that he started to play Apex Legends.

CouRage tweeted out his reaction, which many who support him for playing Warzone will be very happy with, as it suggests he will be back and playing Warzone “much more” once it drops.

Nadeshot, another popular content creator and professional gamer for 100 Thieves, also reacted to RICOCHET.

Rather than reacting to its potential for stopping hackers in Warzone, Nadeshot wants to give props to the branding team who came up with the anti-cheat’s name.

In the Tweet, Nadeshot says: “Ricochet gotta be the coldest name ever created for an Anti-Cheat software. Props to whoever was on the brand team for this one.”

Nadeshot wasn’t the only one to also respond in a comedic manner, as professional Call of Duty player OpTic HECZ also similarly reacted to the tweet.

Although the Tweet does seem to be slightly misinformed, as the anti-cheat will not be arriving until Vanguard’s integration into Warzone, it’s still a pretty funny reaction, especially as it has been confirmed that RICOCHET will feature human surveillance.

Lastly, JackFrags also put out a very detailed video concerning the new RICOCHET anti-cheat, as he was invited to a meeting by Call of Duty to discuss it.

In the video, JackFrags goes in-depth on how RICOCHET will work, including the different areas the team working on Warzone’s security and anti-cheat are focussing on.

In the end, JackFrags gives his own opinion and reaction to the anti-cheat, which is in general quite positive:

“anti-cheat isn’t magic, there’s always going to be cheaters…but something about this seems different to me… it’s a new initiative, and it seems like there’s been some serious planning, consideration, effort, and money put behind it.”

It does seem as if the developers are working extremely hard to combat the hackers in Warzone, but as JackFrags said, the new anti-cheat will not simply rid the game of hackers, but it may help significantly reduce them.

So there you have it, there are some of the most popular Warzone content creator’s reactions to the upcoming RICOCHET anti-cheat.
