Crazy Warzone glitch is letting players melee enemies through walls
A brand new glitch has struck CoD: Warzone Season 4 with reports of players being able to melee other players through walls, scoring cheap kills.
For all the plaudits that Warzone Season 4 has garnered so far, thanks to its balanced meta and fresh content, it’s also received backlash for its various bugs and glitches. Already, the game’s new Red Doors are being spoiled by the return of map exploits, and there have been more cases of invisibility.
Now, an unusual glitch appears to be in Warzone Season 4 that is mistakenly letting players attack others through walls with melee weapons.
The evidence of this glitch comes from Reddit user Babayaga20000 who claimed that they had been “wallbanged by Kali Sticks.”
Kali Sticks were, and still are to an extent, an extremely effective melee weapon to use in Warzone’s early days. Players could effortlessly down enemies in only a few swift hits, and it prompted an uproar asking for them to be nerfed.
Certain players enjoy the thrill of melee-only, and our Reddit user was on the wrong end of Kali Sticks, but in an unconventional way.
The video showed them on a roof battling two players through a window. They succeeded in killing the first player, and just as it looked like the second player was a goner, our player was suddenly downed.
With some careful listening and observation, you can clearly make out the sound of swinging Kali Sticks connecting through the wall, and from a fair distance away.
Now, melee weapons are generally a niche weapon to use, and it’s unlikely that this will be a commonly seen bug, but the fact remains that it is clearly present in the game.
It could just be that the Kali Sticks need an adjustment, or melee weapons in general gain some insane buff when swung near walls. In any event, be wary of walls and other players in Warzone, more so.
