Absurd glitches are not as common as they once were, but they still appear in Warzone Pacific from time to time. The latest glitch is leaving players baffled as Caldera’s spawn plane flies straight into the Peak POI.

Every Warzone Pacific match starts with players jumping out of a plane to their destination of choice. This mechanic is a staple of the battle royale genre as players decide between a hot drop or a location with less action.

With the Peak POI positioned in the center of Caldera, the spawn plane often flies over the large mountain area, but this time a glitch has caused the plane to fly straight into Peak with devastating consequences for those who choose to jump out.

The majority of recent Warzone Pacific glitches tend to mess with the game’s textures and graphics. Whether it has to do with missing reticles or invisible walls, glitches that disturb how players perceive their in-game surroundings pop up from time to time.

A clip of the latest game-breaking glitch was posted to the Warzone subreddit and it’s truly something you have to see to believe.

Warzone plane flying into Peak glitch

For starters, the plane seems to be traveling at a much faster speed than normal. Whether this is related to the glitch or not is up for debate but what happens as the plane reaches Peak’s midsection is difficult to grasp.

The spawn plane glitches into Peak and passes through it, leaving the players who jumped off the plane trapped under the map. The glitched players get a strange view of Caldera from under Peak and are even able to kill enemies who clearly have no idea where they’re being shot from.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this glitch as Warzone expert and streamer Joseph ‘MerK’ DeLuca also came across it. However, it seems that if you do not attempt to get off of the plane while it passes through Peak, the aircraft will resurface on the other side and you can deploy as you normally would.

Several users in the comments of the Reddit post speculated that the plane could be getting set to fly lower than usual, “Peak would be modified, and the plane flight height would be lower as a result, hence this glitch that has happened to a few people already.”

We’ll keep you posted if the devs address the issue in the coming days.
