Crazy Warzone hack is killing players through the ground
A deadly new hack appears to be in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 that allows cheaters to fire aimlessly at the floor to score easy kills.
It’s hard to remember a time in Warzone when there wasn’t at least one game-breaking hack or exploit causing havoc for players. Killing enemies through a wall and RC-XD controllers behaving irrationally is one thing, but downright blatant hacks are damaging to the battle royale experience.
Despite all the banned Warzone accounts, the game continues to be populated by a variety of hackers that can employ aimbot and other cheap tactics to rack up large kill games. The new hack doesn’t even require you to aim at enemies, or even the sky, as you can just fire at the floor.
It doesn’t help that people are openly using hacks on Twitch for all to see, but the presence of hacking is pretty much known to most players that boot up CoD: Warzone.
The latest example was caught red-handed by Reddit user notbilbo, and their video showed the effortless and skillless nature of the hack.
Spectating the hacker, we saw that they had accumulated 37 kills and were running around the map firing their gun into the ground. It killed the remaining players, and to add insult to injury, the hacker was doing 360s whilst firing.
Needless to say, the video drew a host of angry comments from Warzone players who watched the video.

“Waiting on Battlefield so I can stop playing this abomination of a game,” said magoo1979. Another comment said, “I don’t even understand why people think this is fun? Where is the satisfaction of winning if you’re just doing this cr*p?,” whereas Fusion1947 sarcastically offered, “I just love how much skill this dude has and how good the Activision ban system is.”
Call of Duty: Warzone still remains a very popular game, but the sense in the community is that hacks are putting many players off, and could hurt it in the long run.
NICKMERCS quit playing Warzone tournaments because of cheating, and you wonder what other knock-on effects hacks could have on the game.
