Does Warzone 2 have crossplay? PC, Xbox & PlayStation cross-platform guide
Warzone 2 allows you to hop into matches online with other players, but can you play across different platforms? Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone 2’s cross-platform capabilities.
When Warzone 2 arrived on November 16, Call of Duty players were treated to a plethora of fun new content, including the Al Mazrah map and the extraction-focused DMZ mode – which is inspired by Escape from Tarkov.
You can enjoy all of this content after hopping into a game with players online. However, can you play with your friends if they’re on a different platform than you? We’ve got you covered with the answer.
Is Warzone 2 cross-platform?
Yes, Warzone 2 has full crossplay support on all platforms, so it’s possible for you to play with your friends online across PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
You’ll just have an Activision account and log in to play with your buddies. This is something that previous Call of Duty titles have also featured, including the first Warzone, Vanguard, and Black Ops Cold War. Modern Warfare 2 also has full crossplay capabilities.
Does Warzone 2 have cross-progression?
Warzone 2 also features cross-progression so you can maintain your progress when playing the game on different platforms. Logging in with your Activision account will ensure that your XP progression is carried over.
So, you don’t have to worry about losing your progress after loading up Warzone 2 on different platforms, as you’ll be able to continue leveling up. This applies to both old and current-gen consoles.
That covers everything that you need to know about Warzone 2’s crossplay and cross-progression capabilities.
