Dr Disrespect has his issues with Call of Duty: Warzone, but he has admitted that the new Caldera map might be exactly what’s needed to improve the battle royale title.

The Warzone Pacific Caldera update features a ton of new content, including weapon updates, equipment changes, and the new Caldera map. Dr Disrespect was one of the few content creators that were given a sneak peek of the update.

He previously went over his problems with the Secrets of the Pacific event but the popular streamer has been thoroughly impressed with the update, claiming that it’s the change needed to save Warzone.

Dr Disrespect played several games in Warzone’s Caldera map and it ended up exciting him. He explained that the game’s biggest problem has been having to play on the same map, and this is a much-needed change.

“The concept for Warzone, the way it’s designed, its flow, pacing, they’re all good,” he stated. “The core game design is addicting. The problem isn’t that…it’s that we’ve been playing the same map for two years now, and that’s made it horrible.”

After expressing his frustration with playing on the same maps for two years, he went over how much of a difference Caldera makes to the game, describing the new addition as “a game-changer.”

“The design of the game, the feel of the game on this new map, I’m actually having fun!” Doc exclaimed. “The map is beautiful, and I can see things again. Can I hear things? F**k no, but I can see things.”

Overall, Dr Disrespect is having a great time with the update so far. He also went over how excited he is to explore the CoD Vanguard arsenal in Warzone and their “fifty million new attachments.”

At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether or not his opinion on the Warzone Pacific update will change. He’s currently relieved to experience something other than the Verdansk map, which had been losing his interest.

Caldera consists of 15 large areas to explore and battle other players across. There are also several lesser points of interest that you can investigate and use to your advantage during combat.
