Dr Disrespect slams disappointing Warzone 2 Sniper Rifle change: “They lied to us”
After playing the Warzone 2 Season 3 update, Dr Disrespect was visibly done with the game and claimed that the devs “lied” to the community.
Warzone 2 Season 3 brought plenty of changes and new pieces of content to the game, such as the Intervention Sniper and movement changes.
However, the community hasn’t taken the update so well, with many unhappy about the pay-to-win DMZ Bundles, BlackCell Battle Pass, and new god mode bug.
One of the most influential streamers known for playing Call of Duty is Dr Disrespect, and he also holds some of the most critical opinions about Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. After playing the Season 3 update, not much has changed for the streamer, as he claims that the game “still sucks,” and that the devs “lied” to the community.
During his April 13 stream, Dr Disrespect played the new Warzone 2 Season 3 update, mostly excited about the one-shot Sniper change. However, his time playing Warzone 2 Season 3 was unfortunately filled with rage, saying that the game “still sucks.”
Dr Disrespect then got into a conversation with TimTheTatman about Season 3, and after Tim says that it’s one of the better updates, the 2x Champion says: “Why? The Sniper doesn’t one-shot kill anything.”
Despite the devs making it clear that Snipers will only one-shot with the explosive ammunition attachment, Dr Disrespect feels the overall sentiment being advertised was that one-shot snipers were returning.
The Doc says that he doesn’t want to go into his “Sniper and fine-tune all of these different attachments” in order to make it a one-shot headshot kill. Both Tim and Dr Disrespect feel all the Snipers should do that regardless of their ammunition attachment.
This led the streamer to say that the devs “lied” to him when it comes to the one-shot Snipers. While Tim states that it’s “not a lie,” as they can technically one-shot with the right attachments, Dr Disrespect responds by saying the devs are “bullsh***ing with their clarification of one-shot Snipers.”
Season 3 hasn’t exactly been getting the most positive response, but the changes made do seem to be attempting to appeal to the community’s requests, so we’ll have to wait and see if any more changes are made to please the Doc.
