Dr Disrespect slams Warzone 2 Ranked Play & explains how to save it
Activison / Dr DisrespectAfter getting the chance to play Warzone 2 Ranked Play, Dr Disrespect slammed the competitive mode and explained that there’s only one way to save it.
Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded finally brought Ranked Play to the battle royale, copying a similar formula to Modern Warfare 2’s competitive mode.
Warzone 2 Ranked Play gives players something to play for, as they try their best to get eliminations and win games in order to climb the Skill Divisions and Ranks.
Players have been calling for the battle royale to get a ranked mode for some time, and even Dr Disrespect claimed Warzone 2 needed a competitive mode to survive. Now it’s finally here, the Doc spent some time playing it during his May 15 stream, revealing his opinions on the mode.
Unfortunately, the 2x Champion didn’t enjoy his time playing Warzone 2 Ranked Play, which is no surprise if you are already aware of Dr Disrespect’s critical view on the battle royale game as a whole.
The streamer raged pretty hard throughout his time playing Warzone 2 Ranked Play on stream and at one point, Dr Disrespect said: “I can’t play this game, boring, that’s what it is, I don’t care if they add a rank or not, the game’s still boring!”
After being asked to give Activision a hint of what they need to do to improve the game, Dr Disrespect shared his opinion. The Doc said, “I don’t think there’s much they can do…unless they get Treyarch full-time on it.”
Clearly, Dr Disrespect feels that Treyarch are more capable than Infinity Ward, saying he’d be “excited” by the idea of Treyarch going “full time” on Modern Warfare 2. Considering Sledgehammer are developing the next Call of Duty, which is reportedly titled Modern Warfare 3, Dr Disrespect will likely have to wait another year until Treyarch take the reins again.
