Fan-favorite Modern Warfare Grau finally meta again in Warzone Season 5
After being absent from the meta for some time, the fan-favorite Modern Warfare Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle is finally dominant again in Warzone Pacific Season 5.
Warzone Pacific’s meta underwent major changes with the arrival of the Season 5 update which brought buffs and nerfs to a ton of weapons, including the Modern Warfare Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle.
While the Grau 5.56 was initially an extremely popular pick, it fell to the wayside as weapons like the NZ-41 claimed the spotlight. Now, it’s finally dominating the mid-range meta again during Warzone Pacific Season 5.
The weapon received a significant boost to its max damage, damage range, and neck damage multiplier when the seasonal update went live. As a result, it’s becoming a deadly and viable pick again.
According to the WZRanked website, the Grau 5.56 currently has a pick-rate of 7.25, second only to the Armaguerra 43. At the time of writing, it is the most popular Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 5.
It also boasts an impressive K/D ratio of 1.11 and a win rate of 3.57. As a result, it’s catching the attention of the Warzone community, and Call of Duty expert Metaphor stated that the Grau 5.56 is “now meta again.”
After taking it out into battle, Metaphor was able to secure 25 kills and dish out over 15k damage to his opponents. The Grau 5.56 is able to annihilate targets in mid-range combat following its Season 5 buffs, which makes it a great pick for Fortune’s Keep and Caldera.
Since Season 5 is still in its first week, it remains to be seen if any other weapons will end up surpassing the Grau 5.56’s performance in Warzone, but it’s presently a powerhouse and worth trying out after hopping into the game.
