Forgotten Warzone 2 LMG is ‘unmatched’ at long-range with lethal TTK
The long-range meta is hotly contested in Warzone 2, and CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed his pick for the best LMG in the game to pick off enemies from a distance.
Warzone 2 Season 3 shook up the meta in a number of interesting ways, thanks to the arrival of the Cronen Squall and the Intervention, along with a ton of buffs and nerfs to the existing line-up.
The long-range meta, in particular, saw huge changes, with certain Sniper Rifles being awarded one-shot capabilities when running explosive ammo. However, many players still prefer to run an LMG to gun down far-away enemies.
Luckily, Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has revealed the LMG that he claims is unmatched when it comes to power in Season 3.
In his May 5 video, the creator explained that the RAAL MG is currently the best option in that category, beating out other popular options like the RPK and Sakin MG38.
“To me, the power of the RAAL just speaks volumes because quite frankly, nothing can match its power,” he said in the video. “Other LMGs, other main primaries, the thing just obliterates everything if you’re landing your shots.”
While he noted that the RAAL MG does come with more recoil than some of its rivals, he claimed this could be easily countered with the right attachments, allowing players to “dominate” at long-range.
Check out WhosImmortal’s best RAAL MG loadout in Warzone 2 below.
WhosImmortal’s best RAAL MG loadout in Warzone 2
- Muzzle: Shred CP90
- Barrel: 21″ EXF Rhino Barrel
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
- Underbarrel: XRK Dune Grip
- Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip
WhosImmortal began his best RAAL MG loadout in Warzone 2 with the Shred CP90 muzzle, which helps curb some of its horizontal and vertical recoil. Next, he went for the 21″ EXF Rhino Barrel, buffing the LMG’s range and bullet velocity, ensuring it does maximum damage at all distances.
Then he added even more stability with the help of the XRK Dune Grip and Stip-40 Grip, which both drastically improve the recoil control to keep the RAAL on target. Finally, he picked the Aim OP-V4 for a clean optic that doesn’t obscure the screen.
Despite the ringing endorsement from WhosImmortal, the RAAL MG only has a pick rate of 0.5% according to WZ Ranked. With this setup, players will be able to make full use of its blistering long-range TTK by keeping much of its recoil in check.
If you’re looking for a new primary ahead of Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded, then consider taking this LMG for a spin.
