Four best DMR alternatives for Warzone Season 1
Despite the long-awaited nerf of the DMR-14 in Warzone, players feel that it’s still overpowered and is far too easy to use. If you want a viable alternative to make Warzone Season 1 interesting again, here are four of the best guns for you to try out.
Warzone’s META was well and truly demolished by the introduction of the DMR-14 as its pinpoint accuracy, abundance of firepower, and minimal recoil made it unstoppable.
In response to the weapon’s overpowered nature, Activision Blizzard promised a nerf, and they delivered a nerf. But that nerf hasn’t proved to be as substantial as first thought and players are still unhappy with the DMR.
If you fancy something a bit different and want a greater challenge, then take a look at these DMR alternatives.
4 best DMR Warzone alternatives
Kilo 141
Until the DMR decided to steal the spotlight, the Kilo 141 was arguably THE weapon of choice for most players. It’s just an extremely reliable Assault Rifle with a whole host of benefits.
Its high damage output can be matched by attachments that increase its accuracy and reduce its recoil. It has few weaknesses and has been vouched for by many popular CoD influencers.
Here are the best Kilo 141 loadout to use in Warzone & Modern Warfare.
XM4
One of the most recent additions to Warzone, the XM4 arrives via the Black Ops Cold War integration and maintains its all-around versatility.
Similar to the Kilo 141, the XM4 suffers a bit at range, and given that Warzone’s map is gigantic and requires some long-distance engagements, a few attachments should sort its range out.

Grau 5.56
The Kilo 141 is one of the more recent success stories in Warzone, but the Grau was one of the originators of Warzone metabreaking.
Its nerf marginally reduced its damage output, but this can be amended thanks to the right attachments anyway. Perhaps give it a go and see if it still holds up enough to make a comeback.
Kar98k
It’s not quite an Assault Rifle, but it still has lots of those punishing qualities that make the Kar98k a game-winner.
Its potential to one-shot enemies is a must-have quality and the skill required to use it is higher than that of the DMR. If you fancy a change and want to test your ability, then give the Kar98k a whirl.

This list has hopefully opened your eyes and made you realize that there’s a whole world outside of the DMR-14.
The nerf’s reception obviously isn’t as great as I’m sure Activison Blizzard were looking for, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that it recieves another update sometime soon.
