How to turn into a Zombie in Warzone Season 2’s Nuke Event
Warzone Season 2 is drawing to a close, and Activision has certainly spiced things up by allowing players to turn into a Zombie mid-game.
It’s official, destruction is on the way. The Zombie Containment Protocol has failed, with the situation reaching critical mass. As a result, Verdansk now has special areas that have become so contaminated with the Zombie presence that they can have severely adverse effects on players.
We imagine this will be for one week only to conclude the exciting twists and turns of Season 2, but for the time being, this is a full guide on how you can turn the tables on the enemy by becoming a Zombie during Warzone’s Nuke Event.
Where do you go to turn into a Zombie in Warzone?
The original Zombie invasion started when a large cargo ship docked on the shores of Verdansk. The Shipwreck POI was where it all began, and it seems we’re literally coming full-circle.
Shipwreck and Prison currently have two of the new infected Radiation Zones, which are also housing a new Stim Glitch. These Radiation Zones are the key to morphing you into one of the undead.
Here’s what you’ll need to do to become a Zombie in Warzone:
- Enter either a Duos, Trios, or Quads match – NOT a Solo game
- Land into one of the Radiation Zones
- You now need to die inside of the gas
- Once you’ve done that, your character will now deploy into Verdansk as a Zombie
- Go and get as many kills as you can!
Your controls and attacks are the same as what players received during the special Halloween Event of Warzone.
Players can use a Charged Jump, a Gas Grenade, and EMP Blast to inflict pain and punishment on any remaining players.
Be warned, even though you’ll become a Zombie, you’ll still only get one chance to be one, otherwise, it’s off to another lobby for you.
Whether you’re a fan of the Zombie invasion of Verdansk or not, it’s a bit of fun and is offering something a little bit different as we count down the days to the launch of Season 3.
