JGOD claims Warzone’s new Lachmann Shroud is meta contender with “insanely fast” TTK
ActivisionWarzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded has introduced the Lachmann Shroud to the battle royale, a new SMG that JGOD claims has a “very broken TTK.”
The Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded update has introduced players to three new weapons, the Lachmann Shroud, the 9mm Daemon, and the Pickaxe Melee weapon.
All of these are available in Sector E0 of the Season 5 Battle Pass, but one of them has caught the eye of stats expert JGOD after going in-depth into its stats. The Lachmann Shroud is a burst SMG that can also be used in semi-auto mode.
When checking out its close-range TTK potential, popular Warzone content creator JGOD discovered some “broken” numbers. The base close-range TTK for the Lachmann Shroud in burst sits at 504, which bests popular choices such as the Lachmann Sub (600) and ISO 45 (603).
In fact, in semi-auto, the Lachmann Shroud’s TTK numbers are even more impressive, sitting at a base TTK of 470. However, this isn’t very realistic in-game, as you’d have to have an unrealistically consistent and fast trigger finger in those close-range gunfights to even get close to the “insanely fast” semi-auto TTK.
That said, even the practical TTK numbers that JGOD details are still incredibly strong. With these numbers, JGOD believes the Lachmann Shroud “could definitely be meta,” it just depends on how “fast your trigger finger is.”
JGOD also shared his best Lachmann Shroud build for Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded so far, which features the following attachments:
- Laser: 1MW Quick Fire Laser
- Ammunition: 9mm Sub HP
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10
- Stock: FT Mobile Stock
The build essentially aims to improve the Lachmann Shroud’s mobility and recoil, making it more efficient in close-range battles. See which mode suits you better, as it can be a powerful SMG choice in both burst and semi-automatic.
