JGOD explains if Warzone players should use NVIDIA DLSS or not
If you’re considering using NVIDIA DLSS in Warzone since the latest fix for setting, JGOD’s latest video explains whether it’s now worth it or not.
There are loads of settings in Warzone that can be overwhelming to some, especially new players. Knowing which ones are essential and which ones aren’t needed can be vital to the player’s experience.
The latest surprise patch issued a fix for the NVIDIA DLSS issue that was breaking players’ aim, but is it now worth using the setting or not?
Before the latest patch, which seems to have fixed the NVIDIA DLSS bug, players noticed that the setting would create a misalignment between your reticle and where the bullets would actually go, depending on your resolution.
JGOD has released a video explaining how it works after the patch and which setting will be the best for you, depending on your setup.
Warzone NVIDIA DLSS setting post patch
JGOD tested each of the NVIDIA DLSS settings in-game, concluding that they all now work as they should, with all of the bullets hitting exactly where your reticle is placed.
The Warzone content creator then went through the ins and outs of all the different NVIDIA DLSS settings: Quality, Balanced, Performance, and Ultra Performance, and which ones are best for your set up.
Ultimately, these settings are down to preference and how powerful your setup is. As JGOD states, the best NVIDIA setting is essentially “case by case.”
However, JGOD says that if you feel comfortable with the number of frames per second you are getting with NVIDIA DLSS, you should leave the setting disabled. JGOD even made a chart that shows the specifics for each setting so that players can get a better idea of what each of them does.
NVIDIA DLSS settings
If you want better image quality, the Quality NVIDIA DLSS setting is the one you should be using, giving you a better resolution over frame rate, but at least 2k gaming is recommended.
Balanced is for those who would like high image quality and high fps performance, which can be good for those who want to retain fps and not experience blurriness.
Performance is for those who want to prioritize performance over resolution, providing players with more frames per second at the expense of resolution. It is recommended for those who are capable of 4k gaming.
Finally, Ultra Performance is for those with an 8k set-up that can deal with extremely high frame rates of 180. This setting is for those who want a huge frame rate boost.
What JGOD recommends is to “either go disabled, or go Quality, if you’re just a frame chaser you can go these routes (Performance, Ultra Performance), but expect a little bit of blurriness.”
That’s all on JGOD‘s advice for what NVIDIA DLSS settings you should be using. For more, stay tuned on Charlie INTEL and check out our recent article on Warzone & Cold War Season 4.
