JGOD reveals “nasty” underrated Warzone 2 close-range loadout for Season 4 Reloaded

JGOD has revealed the best close-range weapons for Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, showing off his best loadout for an underrated close-quarters SMG.

Season 4 of Warzone has certainly shaken up the weapon meta, not only with the TTK change and buffs and nerfs, but also thanks to the new weapons introduced such as the ISO 45 and MX Guardian in the Season 4 Reloaded update.

With all these influences, many may be wondering what the close-range meta now looks like in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded.

Well, thankfully, stats expert and Call of Duty content creator JGOD has revealed what he believes is the close-range meta in Warzone 2, going in-depth with stats to figure out the best weapons to take advantage of for close-range combat.

When discussing and looking at the TrueGameData TTK stats of different close-range weapon options, JGOD shared a list of the weapon with the fastest TTKs for close range.

At the top is the Akimbo Basilisk, which JGOD calls “destructive,” with a close-range TTK of 360. While it’s top of the list, it’s “a little bit more niche, a little bit more gimmicky,” than some of the other options on the list.

A more versatile option is a “practical SMG,” as JGOD highlights the FSS Hurricane, an underrated gun with a 0.3% pick rate according to WZRanked that JGOD actually believes has a very competitive TTK.

One thing to make a note of is that JGOD makes it clear that the TTK is much better with the FSS Hurricane when you can get at least one headshot when firing on an enemy: “If you get a headshot in the mix…that is incredibly important.”

With one headshot in the mix, the FSS Hurricane’s TTK sits at 602, which is just better than the popular ISO 45. One of the best things about the FSS Hurricane is its damage per mag, as it has one of the highest values in JGOD’s findings.

With this loadout, JGOD claims the weapon feels great as the mobility, recoil, and range are all excellent: “everything about it feels good.”
