JGOD reveals the loadout with the highest K/D ratio in Warzone Season 3
Through using popular stats website WZ Ranked, YouTuber and Warzone scholar JGOD has revealed the weapon loadouts with the highest K/D ratio with one surprising result.
There are many factors to consider when choosing your weapon loadout for Warzone. Some like to use loadouts from the big streamers such as NICKMERCS and Swagg, and others go to Warzone statistician JGOD for a detailed breakdown.
JGOD and many other members of the community use website WZ Ranked to see the most popular weapons, which streamers you’ve played against, and also what weapons have the highest K/D (kill death ratio). Using this website, JGOD has revealed which weapon loadouts have the highest K/D ratio, with a surprising result.
As JGOD is known for, he looked into the nitty-gritty stats of WZ Ranked and discovered that the two weapon loadouts with the highest K/D ratios in Warzone Season 3 are the CR-56 AMAX and Black Ops Cold War’s AK-47.
It’s no surprise that the CR-56 AMAX is on top as, despite nerfs to its damage, the weapon is still regarded as the best Assault Rifle in the game. However, Cold War’s AK-47 may come as a surprise since, although powerful, it’s still an outlier, being only the 16th most used weapon in Season 3.
Compared to weapons such as the Kilo 141 and the Grau 5.56, the AMAX and AK-47 are considerably more difficult to control. While they hit hard, you’ll need to spend some time learning to control their recoil to be effective with them.
As Dexerto’s Théo Salaun suggested to JGOD in the replies, perhaps players who are more comfortable running these weapons are in a higher skill bracket than those who don’t. So perhaps it’s not necessarily the weapons themselves that bear the high K/D ratio, but the players that use them. JGOD agreed, saying that “I am sure that plays a role as well.”

Even the attachment choices themselves are quite surprising. The CR-56 AMAX build with the highest K/D utilizes Sleight of Hand instead of the common VLK 3.0x Optic. This lines up with the theory that high skilled players favor the weapon, as Sleight of Hand is an aggressive attachment designed for pushing fights.
And the AK-47 is a little bit more run-of-the-mill, with it being built as a Sniper Support, using mobility attachments for close-medium range with a high sprint to fire time.
Almost all CR-56 AMAX and CW AK-47 loadouts bear a high K/D ratio, so it’s worth experimenting to find the class that works best for you.
