JGOD reveals Warzone’s best long-range weapons after Season 3 Reloaded update
Call of Duty content creator JGOD has analyzed every long-range Warzone weapon and revealed the best guns to use following the Season 3 Reloaded update.
The Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update brought several weapon buffs and nerfs to the game in an attempt to balance the weapon pool. Once again, Vanguard weapons emerged from the update as the biggest winners, while Cold War weapons continued to receive hefty nerfs.
Warzone’s best long-range weapons often define eras of Warzone and assessing the top options is a key to success. Luckily, stats expert JGOD has highlighted which long-range weapons to utilize throughout Season 3 Reloaded.
While many players were upset by the fact that Vanguard weapons were being forced to the top of Warzone’s meta, JGOD proves that you don’t have to use them if you don’t want to.
While there’s no denying that the STG44 is a powerful option, you can still find success with some of the non-Vanguard weapons that JGOD includes on his list.
JGOD explains that while TTK is an important factor for determining the best Warzone weapons, it’s important to have a broad perspective and not solely rely on TTK as a measure of viability, “TTK is not everything.”
He explains that the weapon’s ease of use must also be factored in since missing your shots would not allow you to reach the fast TTKs that players love to dissect. Essentially, JGOD accounts for all of the important factors that go into determining the best long-range weapons.

While some inclusions on the list like the STG44 are expected, others may inspire you to test some new options out. For starters, JGOD highlights the STG44 and BAR as the standout long-range options in Season 3 Reloaded. While players may be fed up with the overpowered STG44, it’s nice to see the BAR earn its time in the spotlight.
While these two Vanguard weapons are at the top of the long-range meta, there are plenty of viable weapons that players can find success with. Fans of Cold War Assault Rifles will be happy to discover that despite recent nerfs, the XM4 is still a great option, as is the Vargo 52.
Most of the remaining weapons are amongst the Assault Rifle category like the Automaton and Cooper Carbine, but JGOD also suggests testing out the Whitley and RPD LMGs in Season 3 Reloaded as they shoot really straight and don’t suffer from a slow reload, “the reload is still pretty quick unlike the PKM, which is also disgusting or the Bruen.”
JGOD breaks down the best attachments to use on all eight of the weapons listed above. While the Cold War attachments are quite standard, JGOD offers several different builds for Vanguard weapons like the BAR.
