Major Warzone Ghost glitch breaks popular Perk
Ghost is one of Warzone’s most popular Perks, thanks to its ability to hide the player from enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors. But a “game-breaking” Season 6 glitch is causing the Perks effect to stop working, leaving unsuspecting players exposed.
With Call of Duty: Vanguard so close to its worldwide releases, many fans are jumping into Warzone Season 6 for Verdansk’s final chapter.
Season 6 has brought plenty of Halloween-themed content to the battle royale with The Haunting event, from the new Ghost of War skin to an entire batch of new challenges.
However, with all the spooky additions, the Ghost Perk has also been broken by a “major” glitch.
CoD YouTuber Immortal explained the new Ghost glitch in a recent upload to his channel.
Ghost is supposed to stop players from showing up on enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, allowing them to stay hidden.
The bug appears to be making the effectiveness of the Perk with UAVs extremely inconsistent, with users being obscured one moment and revealed the next.
Equipment like UAVs ping every few seconds, revealing nearby enemies with each one. Immortal notes that as it stands, some pings will randomly reveal an enemy’s position, then the next will see them vanish again.
The glitch, which he describes as “pretty game-breaking,” is leaving squads players unsure of whether or not a rival team is aware of their presence or not.
Immortal also mentions that it is an issue for players using a UAV, as it’s impossible to track enemy movements if they are constantly appearing and disappearing from the map.
Ghost has been a divisive perk in Warzone for some time, but the way it is working at the moment is causing issues for every player.
Raven Software has confirmed they are aware of the issue and have a fix on the way, although they did not give a timeframe for how long it will take to implement.
It shouldn’t be too long before the developers release their fix for the Ghost Perk glitch and fans can trust they are being hidden 100% of the time.
