Call of Duty have rolled out a new update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on August 31. The patch notes highlight the developers’ efforts to address ongoing issues in both games through a range of bug fixes introduced in Season 5 Reloaded.

After the somewhat intricate launch of Season 5 Reloaded, a fresh update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 was rolled out on August 31. This update gave developers another chance to address several issues, ensuring that players could fully relish the new season’s content in both the battle royale and MW2’s multiplayer.

With the Season 5 Reloaded update, an annoying glitch would regularly trap players in the menu, making it impossible to fully access the game. Another issue prevented players from choosing a customized weapon from the Armory, while an exploit enabled players to achieve flight while using boats.

Fixed an issue where the Mastery Completionist Charm for the Pickaxe was not granted to the Player upon completion
Fixed an issue where a number of Mastery Completionist Charms showed a placeholder model
Fixed an issue where the Player was unable to purchase rewards from the Season 04 Battle Pass after purchasing the Season 04 Battle Pass in the Recap
Fixed an issue where selecting the Filter option in the Recent Squad/Team Menu produces a Missing Asset Error
Fixed an issue where placeholder text is displayed when the Player completes the Drill Charge Weekly Challenge
Fixed an issue where the menu could close when selecting “Invite Players” in the Social Menu
Fixed an issue where the menu could close when selecting options on a custom weapon mod in the Armory

Fixed an issue preventing collision detection with some geography on Ashika Island
Fixed an issue where the Player experiences black screens and a “Cache is locked” message in DMZ when equipping the Battle Buddy AI Gun Screen
Fixed an exploit that allowed boats to fly in Warzone
