NICKMERCS shows off his new dominant FFAR class in Warzone
The overpowered FFAR Assault Rifle was recently nerfed in CoD: Warzone Season 2, increasing its ADS time. But Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff has revealed an updated FFAR loadout that still owns in Call of Duty’s battle royale.
It’s been hard to find a lobby or gameplay video during Warzone Season 2 that didn’t feature either the AUG or the FFAR. In particular, the FFAR has proven to be a very worthwhile weapon to use at any range and has featured as many player’s primary and secondary weapons.
It was, however, subject to a recent nerf that increases how long it takes to look down the sight or scope. This effectively made it riskier to use in a 1v1 if the other player has a quicker gun. But regardless of the update, many players are still sporting an FFAR class, with FaZe’s NICKMERCS showing off his latest loadout.
Nick prefixes everything by saying that the FFAR “has completely taken over the game” and how it has absolutely dominated the meta during Season 2 of Warzone.
He then discusses the nerf that was supposed to significantly reduce the gun’s viability saying, “But I still don’t really see a big difference as everybody all over the map has an FFAR in their hands, and if you don’t have an FFAR in your hand then I don’t know, it’s kinda hard to move around really.”
It’s not the first time that Nick has allowed people to see his FFAR loadout as he has shown off his dominant FFAR loadout before, pre-patch.
Nick says, “We all have different playstyles and different speeds we play at” but would encourage people to “definitely try my setup.”
NICKMERCS new post-nerf FFAR loadout for Warzone Season 2
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 21.2″ Ranger
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Underbarrel: Infiltrator Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd
Irrespective of the nerf, Nick’s new class doesn’t do anything special to counteract the ADS time for the FFAR. It largely focuses on adding damage and range and making the FFAR an absolutely potent killer.
If NICKMERCS recommends that you use this class, then we think it would be a wise bet to try this out before the FFAR is afflicted by more measures in the future.
