Slept-on Warzone 2 Assault Rifle “dominates” with incredible long-range TTK
Warzone 2 throws players into plenty of long-range fights across Al Mazrah, and CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed the underrated Assault Rifle that can dominate at a distance with the right loadout.
The long-range meta is arguably the most important in Warzone 2, thanks to the vast open spaces of the Al Mazrah desert. Players will constantly be faced with enemies trying to pick them off from dozens of meters away, so it’s important to be able to fight back.
So far, the RPK has been the go-to long-range weapon in Warzone 2, as the LMG has a solid damage output and a huge magazine size. However, there are plenty of guns that can hold their own over large distances that have slipped under the radar.
CoD guru WhosImmortal believes that the M13B is one of these underrated gems. In his January 24 video, the YouTuber said this version of the M13 has what it takes to be a “beast” in Warzone 2.
He found that although it struggles at close and medium range, it has the second-best TTK of any Assault Rifle in Warzone 2, behind only the Kastov 762.
“Once you get to those 50, 60, 70, 80-meter fights, which you’re obviously going to have a ton of with Rifles, this thing can dominate,” he explained. “Don’t sleep on the M13, this thing’s spicy for the long-range.”
Check out WhosImmortal’s best M13B loadout for Warzone 2 below.
WhosImmortal’s best M13B loadout in Warzone 2
- Muzzle: Echoless-80
- Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Optic: AIM OP-V4
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
The key to this build is the combination of the Echoless-80 Muzzle and 14″ Bruen Echelon Barrel as they significantly buff the M13B’s damage range and bullet velocity, making the AR extremely powerful over large distances.
He also went for the FTAC Ripper 56 for improved recoil stabilization to ensure you’re hitting every shot. Then he added the AIM OP-V4 Optic for a faster ADS speed, allowing you to land those crucial early shots.
Lastly, WhosImmortal chose 60 Round Mags for extra ammo capacity, giving you the chance to take out multiple enemies before having to worry about reloading.
While the likes of the RPK and Kastov 762 will likely remain the meta options until Warzone 2 Season 2, the M13B has the stats to more than holds its own. If you’re looking to mix things up, be sure to take it for a spin in your next match.
