TimTheTatMan reveals ‘hitscan’ LW3 sniper in Warzone Season 1
BOCW’s LW3 – Tundra is an incredibly powerful sniper rifle in Warzone Season 1, and streamer TimTheTatMan revealed his “hitscan” loadout which he took from TikTok, of all places.
As part of streamer TimTheTatMan’s YouTube series where he tests weapon loadouts from TikTok, the streamer tried an LW3 – Tundra loadout which claims to be “hitscan.”
A hitscan weapon is where the bullet isn’t a physical object, so it will immediately hit the target upon pulling the trigger. Even if an enemy is flying through the air at maximum velocity, you don’t have to lead the shot at all.
There was a similar issue with the SPR-08 Marksman Rifle which was added to Modern Warfare in Season 6. This was soon addressed, but now creators are claiming the Tundra is “hitscan.”
The Tundra isn’t really hitscan; it appears to just be hyperbole for its incredible bullet velocity. However, right in the middle of the DMR 14 and Diamatti META, Tim used the LW3 sniper with great success.

TimTheTatMan used these attachments for his “hitscan” LW3 – Tundra:
- Muzzle: Stabilizer .308
- Barrel: 28.2″ Tiger Team
- Stock: CQB Pad
- Ammunition: 7 Rnd
- Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap
He wasn’t confident that it would be viable, stating at the beginning of the match, “I feel like this sniper is about to suck and TikTok is about to be wrong, but that’s what these tests are for.”
After quickly wiping a team and getting called a cheater in the death chatter, Tim was impressed with the LW3 – Tundra. Even while being shot at by Tactical Rifles, his shots would almost immediately down the enemy. In his conclusion, Tim said it’s the best Cold War sniper rifle, but you should add the Wrapped Suppressor instead of the Stabilizer .308.
Now that the DMR 14 has finally been nerfed, Tundra is a fun and effective alternative now that you can use some other weapons without being melted by a DMR every time.
TimTheTatMan proved that the LW3 is absolutely viable, even during the most one-sided META Warzone had ever seen.
