The Warzone 2 devs have responded to the community after players started to experience an extremely odd glitch that caused them to be downed at the start of BR matches.

Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded had a pretty smooth launch, as players could hop into games without server issues, test out all of the new balance changes, and work their way to unlocking the Tempus Torrent.

That said, it seems all significant updates for Warzone bring new glitches and bugs for players to run into, and the latest is preventing them from dropping out of the plane and playing the game properly.

In Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded, players have been experiencing an issue that causes them to be in the downed state at the start of BR matches, which in turn prevents them from being able to jump out of the plane.

The glitch forces players to wait until the end of the plane’s flight path, where they are tossed out still downed, using up their visit to the Gulag early if no one is around to revive them. Players in the comments of the Reddit post believe that being downed in the pre-game lobby could be causing the glitch.

This is obviously extremely frustrating, but luckily Raven Software have acknowledged the problem on Twitter, announcing that they are investigating the “issue causing players to be downed during Infil.”

Further, Raven replied to a comment suggesting that being downed in the pre-game lobby was the issue, but the devs assured the players that they “have a solid idea of what’s happening and are actively investigating a fix.”

So, until a fix is issued, Warzone 2 players will have to be patient and they can try to prevent this by staying alive in the pre-game lobby, however, it’s not 100% confirmed that this is the cause.
