Warzone 2’s Gunsmith gives players plenty of options when it comes to building a weapon loadout, and CoD expert Sally is a Dog has revealed the “cheat code” attachment players are sleeping on.

Warzone 2 players are always looking for new ways to gain an advantage over the competition, whether it’s tweaking their audio settings or running one of the meta weapons in the current season.

The current Gunsmith system gives players a lot of flexibility when it comes to building the ideal loadout, with dozens of different attachments to choose from with powerful effects. Some of these have become staples in Warzone 2, while others have flown under the radar.

Warzone 2 guru Sally is a Dog has revealed the underrated optic that players should switch to, calling it a “cheat code” when used correctly.

The attachment in question is the SZ Holotherm, which on top of extra magnification also uses thermal tech to outline enemy players. So far, the AIM V4-OP has been the go-to optic in Warzone 2, but the YouTuber felt that the Holotherm has enough benefits to be a viable option.

“It’s good for two reasons. Number one it’s got a real clean sight picture and it gives you an outline of people,” Sally is a Dog explained. “The good thing about it is it can see through smoke.”

The SZ Holotherm’s ability to outline players that would normally be obscured by smoke opens up the door for plenty of interesting plays in Warzone 2, and the YouTuber compared the feature to wallhacks.

“If it looks a wallhack, behaves like a wallhack, I kind of feel like it’s a wallhack,” he explained, although it’s worth noting that the outline disappears once an enemy retreats behind cover.

Sally is a Dog did warn players that the optic does come with more recoil than your average optic, but claimed it was worth using with the right setup.

“If you can manage the recoil or switch around some attachments to get this thing a little less bouncy, I would recommend it,” he concluded.

While he was running the SZ Holotherm on the TAQ-56, it would also work on many other Assault Rifles and LMGs. So, if you’re looking to change up your loadouts in Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded, take this attachment for a spin.
