Warzone 2 players claim “horrible” player visibility makes sniping near impossible
Warzone 2 players are disappointed with player models, as the community highlights enemy players not rendering correctly when sniping from range.
Warzone 2 hasn’t exactly been the best experience for Sniper Rifle lovers, as the devs have been pretty firm on their stance when it comes to the dominance of Snipers.
Despite the community seemingly wanting one-shot Snipers, nerfs to the weapon category continue to push them out of the meta. While their damage and effectiveness at range is obviously a vital factor for their inconsistency, players are now highlighting the poor rendering of player models at range as another issue with sniping in Warzone 2, especially on the huge Al Mazrah map.
Reddit user Seven0232 posted in the Warzone 2 subreddit to explain the issue, along with an image demonstrating the problem. The Reddit user claims the devs “hating sniping” while asking for “player models to render correctly at distance,” so they can have a better “idea of where to aim.”
As you can see in the post’s image, it’s extremely hard to make out the enemy player while using a sniper scope, and they aren’t the only ones who have experienced this problem.
One comment even said, “Lmao same thing happening to me, was sniping a guy from a far and was laughing my a** off while trying to kill him, his character was crouch running backwards.”
Another user expresses their frustrations with character models not rendering correctly at distance in Warzone 2, clearly wanting the devs to fix the problem as they said it’s “horrible” and “needs a fix.”
It’s unclear if the devs will be able to fix a problem like this in Warzone 2, but one comment does mention that the issue was not a problem in WZ1, as “you used to be able to see squads across Verdansk with your HDR.”
We’ll have to wait and see, as the Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded update is just around the corner. For more, make sure you also check out the best loadout to counter the KV Broadside.
