Warzone 2 players furious there are even fewer Buy Stations in Season 1 Reloaded
The Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded update reduced the number of Buy Stations on the map, and players are calling for the developers to revert this change.
The Season 1 Reloaded update is finally live, bringing a plethora of fun content for Warzone 2 players to check out, including the limited-time Warzone Cup mode and the Chimera Assault Rifle.
Players were eager to explore all of the changes that arrived in the mid-season update but were then furious after discovering that there are now fewer Buy Stations that they can visit on the map.
Warzone 2 content creator IceManIsaac explained on Twitter that the arrival of the Season 1 Reloaded update reduced the number of Buy Stations and their locations are now random.
He then showed that Hydroelectric and Al Mazrah City only have one Buy Station each now. IceManIsaac claimed that Warzone 2 has taken “one step forward and two steps back with this update.”
He wasn’t the only one disapproving of this change, as FaZe Swagg also went on Twitter to express his frustration with the reduced number of Buy Stations in Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded.
In all caps, the popular streamer asked: “Why tf [did] they take away Buy Stations.” Other players in the replies felt the same way, and one user described Warzone 2 as an “unfinished game.”
Reddit user ‘Brembars’ brought up the reduced number of Buy Stations in the Warzone 2 subreddit, claiming that it has “ruined the flow” of the game. A large number of players will now gather around the few Buy Stations they can find on the map.
The Redditor claimed that every Buy Station on the map is now a “constant sh*t show of loads of teams one after the other.” The comments of the thread were filled with players that agreed with this sentiment.
One player commented: “The few buy stations are just camp fests now. It sucks.” Another commenter described this change as “game-breaking” because players may start camping around Buy Stations.
Players are hoping that the developers revert this change soon. If not, then one user suggested a simple change: “Buy Stations should have a small permanent UAV over them or portable radar so you can spot buy campers before you approach.”
Buy Stations allow players to purchase items that they need to win matches, so players are upset that there are fewer of them that they can access. At the time of writing, it remains to be seen how the developers will respond to these complaints.
