Warzone 2 Vondel Gulag leak reveals Verdansk prison layout for Season 4 Reloaded
ActivisionA Warzone 2 leak has revealed the new Vondel Gulag before players officially get their hands on it for the Season 4 Reloaded update, and its layout seems very familiar.
With Season 4 well underway, the next big update for Warzone 2 is the Season 4 Reloaded patch, which aims to bring some fresh content such as a new Shotgun and balancing changes.
The introduction of Vondel for Warzone 2 Season 4 was certainly the most exciting piece of new content, as players have been able to discover the map’s secrets, earn new DMZ rewards, and generally enjoy a new battleground filled with interesting POIs.
That said, Vondel has only been available for Resurgence since being introduced, with the devs planning to bring battle royale to the map with Season 4 Reloaded.
As players have only been able to experience Resurgence on the new Warzone 2 map, there’s been no official word on what the Gulag will look like when battle royale finally drops for Vondel. However, leaks just may have unveiled Vondel’s Gulag early, revealing a very familiar layout.
Reddit user TheRealPdGaming revealed a short video of the leaked Vondel Gulag, showing gameplay of the layout.
From the leaked gameplay clip of Vondel’s Gulag, many in the comments are discussing its striking similarities to the classic “prison bathroom gulag” from Verdansk, as both seem to have “the same basic layout.”
If the leaked Vondel Gulag gameplay turns out to be accurate, then players seem to be very happy about its similarities to the prison gulag, with the “same symmetry and flag point,” as one user said “I love it, while another claimed that they are “all for it.”
Of course, this is just a leak, so take it with a pinch of salt, as when it comes to Vondel’s Gulag, nothing has been confirmed or revealed by the devs. That said, the leaked Gulag does put a Vondel-esque spin on the prison Gulag, as it’s much brighter and looks more like a wine cellar.
