After Warzone’s September 23 update, players were reporting issues with the in-game menus. After days of lag and FPS drops, devs have responded to fan concerns.

With Season 5 beginning to wind down and Season 6 looming on the horizon, players are jumping in for a few games in Verdansk before it is replaced by the new Pacific map.

However, many players reported that the recent September 23 update broke the menus, making them “impossible to navigate” and slowing down the time it takes to jump into a fresh match.

Fans will be relieved to hear that devs have addressed the issues in a social media post.

Raven confirmed on September 27 they are aware of the issues that are plaguing the in-game menus and are currently investigating to try and find a solution.

Warzone players called for the devs to fix the laggy menus, which have been suffering from serious FPS drops ever since the update rolled out.

At the time of writing, no further update has been issued and there are still reports from fans the state of the menus is causing them difficulties.

The Operator tab in particular seems to be experiencing problems. “I just bought the newest Adler tracer pack and can’t even use that operator because it skips right over it,” said one Reddit user.

“If you open the Operator’s tab today you’ll be able to change and start a match just in time for the next season,” joked another.

It doesn’t appear to be limited to the Operator menu. There have been reports that loading into each tab takes much longer than usual, and that the FPS is dropping drastically.

Some even said they had been experiencing crashes when trying to get around the screens, being forced to drop their resolution to make loadout changes.

The issues don’t seem to be limited to a specific platform, with both next and last-gen players seeing the same lag. Hopefully, a fix will come in the next few days.
