Warzone fans explain why they’re excited for new Fortune’s Keep map
Fortune’s Keep is a new map that will be arriving with the Warzone Pacific Season 4 update, and fans have explained why they’re excited about this.
The Warzone Pacific Season 4 update is set to bring a plethora of brand-new content for players to enjoy, including the brand-new Fortune’s Keep which is the game’s most significant map change since Caldera.
The announcement of this new map has led to a variety of responses from the Warzone community, with some furious about its arrival, and others have explained why they’re excited about Fortune’s Keep.
On June 13, the Call of Duty developers revealed the full Tac Map that gave players an overview of the exact map layout for Fortune’s Keep in Warzone Pacific Season 4.
Reddit user ‘phleep’ shared the image of this Tac Map in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, and the thread was filled with players giving their input on what they think of the brand-new Season 4 map.
Many of the commenters expressed their excitement for the arrival of Fortune’s Keep since the new map provides a change of scenery to players, giving them new POIs and locations to explore during matches.
One user wrote: “[Fortune’s Keep] looks like an awesome change of scenery. I’m sure 90% of the Rebirth complainers have already completely written it off as trash.”
Another player also praised Fortune’s Keep for giving the Warzone fanbase a fresh new location to explore, claiming that only being able to drop into Caldera and Rebirth Island was getting stale.

The commenter stated: “I am SO pumped for this map. I think Caldera is… OK, but Rebirth is getting old and sometimes feels too cramped. This seems like a perfect middle ground between the two.”
Another player commented: “I would actually love to see a game that has a bunch of these smaller maps. Not at all going to complain because this layout actually looks really good. Rebirth seriously is a 10/10 map and I hope this one is too.”
Call of Duty expert JGOD went over the map and explained that it’s actually larger than Rebirth Island. However, this has not made players any less impressed with the layout for Fortune’s Keep.
Ever since the announcement of Fortune’s Keep for Warzone Pacific Season 4 by the Call of Duty developers, some players have been worried that the new map would end up replacing the fan-favorite Rebirth Island.
One player shared this fear in the thread: “Ever since Verdansk was removed I’ve almost exclusively played Rebirth. I’m just scared they might remove the only good map left and replace it with a bad one. Praying this new one is good.”
The developers previously explained why Warzone is unable to have both Verdansk and Caldera at the same time, so it’s possible that we might see Rebirth Island replaced by Fortune’s Keep. Only time will tell if this is the case.
