Warzone Iron Trials ’84 should be permanent ranked mode, says community
Call of Duty fans have been calling for the Warzone developers to add a ranked mode into the battle royale for ages, and perhaps the new Iron Trials ’84 mode is precisely what they want.
Warzone Season 5 Reloaded not only shifted the weapon meta with various buffs and nerfs but also provided some new game modes to try.
Apart from Clash, which didn’t go down too well with the community, mainly as it replaced fan-favorite mode Plunder, players have been gifted with the Iron Trials ’84 mode, which some are enjoying so much that they are suggesting it stay in the game permanently.
For the longest time now, Warzone players have been begging the developers to implement a rank mode similar to Apex Legends. Although Warzone doesn’t have a true ranked mode just yet, players are claiming the new Iron Trials mode could become Warzone’s version of it if it stays permanently.
Popular streamer CouRageJD put a post up on Twitter expressing this opinion, saying: “I’ve been EXTREMELY critical of Warzone lately, but… Iron Trials ‘84 is AWESOME.”

The streamer loves that the new mode is challenging and rewards gun skill and teamwork. The popular content creator has recently been playing more Apex Legends due to its detailed and addictive ranking system.
However, if Warzone can expand on Iron Trials, they might attract those who enjoy ranked modes back to the game.
Further, those in the community are also loving it, as Reddit user orderabi also stated that the new Iron Trials mode would work great as a permanent ranked playlist for Warzone:
“Iron Trials ’84 is the BEST LTM & should stay as Ranked Mode!”
The post details a lot about the new mode, but the main gist is that Iron Trials make changes to the positive game and influence great gameplay that players would love in a ranked mode.
The user also feels that this mode as a permanent ranked playlist will make the casual Verdansk much more forgiving for those looking to play casually, allowing the sweaty players to grind out a ranked mode.

Hopefully, the developers can continue listening to the community and implement a rank mode in the Call of Duty: Vanguard integration with Warzone or keep Iron Trials ’84 permanently in the Call of Duty battle royale.
