When is Warzone’s Last Hours of Verdansk event? Release date, time, Caldera Pacific map arrival
Call of Duty: Warzone is set to bid a final farewell to Verdansk and introduce Caldera with the Last Hours of Verdansk event, so here’s everything we know including the release date, time, and content.
After almost two years in Verdansk, Warzone is set to finally receive a totally new battle royale experience with Caldera. This will port over all of Vanguard’s weapons and introduce the highly-anticipated RICOCHET anti-cheat.
Although Vanguard is out in the wild, it doesn’t mean that Warzone won’t see any new content. Before Vanguard’s integration, Warzone will host the Last Hours of Verdansk, Operation Flashback LTM, and Secrets of the Pacific events.
The Last Hours of Verdansk is set to feature a destructive end for Warzone’s original map, so here’s everything we know about.
Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk event release date & time
Warzone’s Last Hours of Verdansk event is set to arrive over November 30 and December 1, 2021.
The devs haven’t given a specific time, but both days of April’s The Destruction of Verdansk event started at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM British Time, so we expect the Last Hours of Verdansk event will go live around the same time.
What is Warzone’s Last Hours of Verdansk event?
Warzone’s last Hours of Verdansk event is set to give the original battle royale map a destructive send-off and usher in the brand-new Caldera map set in the Pacific.
The devs teased that the event will allow players to “see what happens to Verdansk before Warzone goes dark to prepare for Caldera and Season One.” They also said to “expect a spectacular and fitting end to your time in Verdansk as we say farewell to the Kastovian city… forever?”
We don’t know exactly what the event will entail but it’s set to be destructive, with Sledgehammer saying “bombs away,” and teasing that “the destruction begins on November 30.” But Verdansk likely won’t get fully destroyed here, because the Nuke Event took place in the 2020s.
The Last Hours of Verdansk will likely follow a similar format to the Destruction of Verdansk event, which saw the map get destroyed on the first day, and then the second day dealt with the aftermath. The Warzone playlist roadmap confirmed that the mode will be played in Trios, and will likely offer players rewards for being there to witness the end.
However, it won’t usher in Caldera straight away, as the Pacific map won’t go live until December 2. We expect Rebirth Island will still be available in the few hours of downtime between maps.
And that’s everything we know about the Last Hours of Verdansk event! More information will be revealed in the run-up to the event, so stay tuned to Charlie INTEL for all updates.
