Warzone Season 2 Reloaded brought a major update to Rebirth Island, but players are asking the developers to make some major changes to the respawn protection system in Rebirth Reinforced.

When the Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update went live on March 23, it brought Rebirth Reinforced, the biggest update to Rebirth Island since its original release back in December 2020.

The new map changes include brand-new POIs and Weapons Trade Stations. However, players are frustrated with the respawn system that allows enemies to come back and kill you with no way to stop them.

Spawn protection is a system that prevents players from immediately getting killed over and over in Warzone. Reddit user ‘Danbuys’ stated that the spawn protection on Rebirth Island makes enemies too powerful.

They claimed that the enemy’s spawn protection allows them to break shields while players can’t damage them back. The Redditor wrote: “It’s way too long and allows a literal invincible enemy to drop on you at Mach 10 speeds during a firefight and down you.”

One user replied: “I think the worst [thing] about this is when you start shooting someone in the sky and deal barely any damage. They land on you while you have to reload or don’t have enough bullets left to finish the kill, and they absolutely gun you down using the Diamatti.”

Many of the commenters agreed that the Rebirth Reinforced spawn system needs a rework. One player shared a suggestion: “I think it should be as soon as you fire a bullet while dropping in, spawn protection should end.”

This change would grant you a fighting chance against respawning players. The current system deactivates spawn protection after pulling a parachute a second time to keep players from spamming bullets on their way down.
