Warzone Pacific Season 2 is here, bringing a brand-new Battle Pass with 100 tiers of exclusive rewards to unlock. However, players claim that the Battle Pass is ranking up extremely slow, and they believe progression rates have been nerfed.

Each season, Call of Duty players can purchase a Battle Pass that offers them 100 tiers of Weapons Blueprints, Operator skins, Double XP tokens, and more. Season 2’s brings the KG M40 Assault Rifle and Whitley LMG as free tiers, with much of the other content locked behind a paywall.

It usually takes several hours to get through the Battle Pass, with most finishing it in the latter half of the season. However, Warzone players claim to be struggling to even level up one tier after hours of play, claiming the progression was nerfed for Season 2.

Battle Pass Season 2 Vanguard Warzone

Reddit user ‘mutatedllama’ took to the Warzone subreddit to say that they’re only progressing a third of a Battle Pass tier in an hour of play. They’ve only been playing Rebirth Island and don’t own Vanguard, and it appears they’re not alone.

Many others took to the comments to explain that they’ve noticed their Battle Passes also seem to be levelling up much slower. ‘aconnors94’ said that the Battle Pass is levelling up “extremely slow,” even while getting “3 wins in less than 2 hours and a few close wins” on Rebirth.

Another user made a separate post discussing the Battle Pass issues. They said that in a four hour session, they played a game of Clash, a game of battle royale, and “countless games of Rebirth.” In this time, they said they never even leveled up one tier.

“Can confirm,” replied one player. “I’ve played a few hours worth of Caldera Clash and [Vanguard multiplayer] and I’m level 3 on [Battle Pass].” Another player explained: “My friends and I play the same length and they are levels ahead of me.”

The slow Battle Pass progression doesn’t seem to be affecting everyone though, so perhaps it’s just a glitch that some players have been unfortunate enough to be hit with.

Hopefully, if it is a glitch, Raven Software and Sledgehammer will solve the issue and have players on the correct Battle Pass tier. This isn’t the first time it has happened, so we’ll be sure to let you know if they respond.
