Call of Duty is crossing over with Amazon’s The Boys in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, but fans are concerned that the new Black Noir Operator could be “even worse” than the Roze skin that has become infamous in the community.

Warzone 2 has enjoyed a number of high-profile collaborations since the sequel launched back in November, from NBA star Kevin Durant to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fans have been desperate to see their favorite franchises make an appearance in Call of Duty, with many even calling for John Wick.

As part of the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded update, a new crossover with Amazon’s The Boys is set to arrive, bringing three new Operators, the Temp V Field Upgrade, and the Diabolical Camo event.

However, players have expressed their concerns over the Black Noir skin coming in the collaboration, comparing it to the infamous Roze skin.

Roze’s all-black ‘Rook’ skin caused issues back on Verdansk as players were able to use its dark color to hide from enemies. Now, it seems that players are concerned that the same poor visibility will affect Black Noir.

Reddit user ‘TheDeadlyAvenger’ shared a post calling out the Black Noir skin, in which they jokingly said “been nice seeing you” alongside an image of the Operator.

Plenty more fans responded to criticize the new Operator, with ‘NickGi’ arguing “this is even worse than [the] Roze Skin”. Meanwhile, as Black Noir is only available as part of a paid bundle, some were frustrated that only those willing to spend money will be able to make use of the skin.

‘Zachh234123’ replied: “I can’t stand Infinity Ward. Clearly didn’t learn their lesson from the Roze skin in 2019. Pay to win. So scummy.”

Others predicted that it won’t be long before the devs have to implement a patch to make the Black Noir skin more visible and tougher to abuse, just like the notorious Roze skin.

“Calling it now: they’ll sell the skin for two weeks baiting people into buying it, then hotfixing it a few weeks later to make it more visible,” said another reply.

Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded is set to begin on July 12, so only time will tell if the Black Noir Operator causes the same amount of disruption as Roze. If it does, don’t be surprised to see it altered before Season 5 arrives.
