Warzone Pacific players feel that the game’s meta is being ruined by Vanguard’s overpowered Assault Rifles and are calling for major changes in Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone Pacific features a wide assortment of weapons, and Raven Software often bring new guns for players to try out, with the Season 4 Reloaded update adding the Vargo-S Assault Rifle.

However, Warzone players have been frustrated about the current meta being dominated by Vanguard weapons, particularly Assault Rifles, and are calling for the developers to make some changes in Season 4 Reloaded.

Despite having received three individual nerfs, the NZ-41 continues to be the most popular weapon in the game, and Reddit user ‘turboS2000’ expressed their frustration with this in the Warzone Pacific subreddit.

They explained that Vanguard Assault Rifles are too powerful because of their high bullet velocity, low recoil, and zero bullet drop. The Redditor claimed that they were able to use the NZ-41 to take out enemies that were 156 meters away.

With Season 4 Reloaded on its way, the player added that they’re hoping for the NZ-41 to receive a nerf, claiming that if this happened then “20 guns would be viable again.”

One of the commenters agreed that Vanguard Assault Rifles are causing problems for the Warzone meta, but claimed that nerfing the NZ-41 wouldn’t be enough as “there are even more boring zero recoil ARs waiting to take its place.”

They listed the KG M40, Cooper Carbine, and Bar as alternatives, before adding that “Vanguard guns need more recoil and bullet drop across the board.”

It’s possible that the Vargo-S could finally dethrone NZ-41 as the meta Assault Rifle when Season 4 Reloaded finally goes live, but, a few of the commenters felt that this could make things worse for the meta.

One user stated: “Nah they’re waiting for the new AR to release which will feel the exact same as every other no-recoil Vanguard AR and will be OP until the new season gun is released at which point it will be nerfed.”

At the time of writing, it remains to be seen if the developers will listen to these complaints and bring major nerfs to every Vanguard Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific after the arrival of Season 4 Reloaded.
