The Realism Limited Time Mode proved to be so popular with Warzone players that they’ve been asking the devs to bring it back. Here’s what we know about its return.

One of the most fun things about Warzone is the different game modes that you can try out. The new Season 5 Reloaded update brought the Clash mode that replaced Plunder in the game.

The Realism LTM was only in the game for a short amount of time but quickly won over fans due to its difficulty. It was then removed, and players have been clamoring for its return ever since.

Luckily, the mode has finally returned just before Season 6 in the recent September 30 playlist update.

What is the Realism mode in Warzone?

During its short time in the game, Realism mode completely changed the dynamic of Warzone with its greater restrictions. These made the combat more challenging, and players loved the intense gameplay.

Here are all the changes that Realism mode made to Warzone:

  • Increased headshot damage
  • Limited HUD
  • No map on the main player screen. It must be brought up manually, which will block a player’s view
  • Teammates won’t be seen on screen but only on the map

When will the Realism mode return in Warzone?

The Realism mode officially returned to Warzone in the September 30 playlist update, seeing Solo Buy Backs and Plunder Trios return.

These additions forced the removal of the greatly loved Iron Trials mode, as well as standard BR solos and Plunder Squads.

While this may be disappointing to some, as Iron Trials was a refreshing take on Warzone, some even wanted to stay permanently in the game, it’s great to have Realism back.
