Warzone Season 5 Gulag will be a classic Black Ops II map
Warzone Season 5 is right around the corner, and with all the new incoming changes, let’s take a look at how the Gulag will shape up.
Warzone Season 5 will bring new content to the game, with players excited to try the new weapons and perks.
Players have been enjoying the Black Ops throwback maps in the Gulag, with the latest being Black Ops II’s Standoff, and it seems they will be continuing this trend in Season 5.
The Gulag has become a staple part of Call of Duty’s battle Royale Warzone, and with Season 5 dropping on August 12, the area will be getting a change.
For those who love Black Ops maps, you’re in for a treat when it comes to the Gulag for Season 5, as the developers have decided to base it on the classic Black Ops 2 map, Rush.

Although it was released as part of a DLC pack in Black Ops 2, Rush quickly became a fan favorite, with players loving the paintball theme.
Rush will take on a smaller form from its original map size to help it fit the Gulag formula, but those familiar with the map will be right at home. Rush will make for an entertaining Gulag, as its format is basically set up for cover-to-cover engagements, which the Gulag has become renowned for.
At the start of the season, the Gulag sees an updated format as it converts into the classic Black Ops II map, Rush. Specifically comprised of the main speedball arena, Rush should feel right at home for paintball fiends who know how to dart from cover to cover toward their enemy.
We’re sure those who love Treyarch’s map design will too love the new Gulag in Season 5, especially as it’s a map that some may be new to, giving them a completely fresh experience.
