What are Redacted Weapons in Warzone Iron Trials? How to get high-rarity guns
Warzone’s brand new Iron Trials ’84 has introduced a new weapon type labeled ‘Redacted.’ But what are they, and how do you get hold of them? We’ve got all the details here.
Warzone Season 5 Reloaded brought with it a new hardcore game mode called Iron Trials ’84, and it’s gone down very well among the community.
Iron Trials ups the ante in a number of ways, such as by increasing the time-to-kill and making loadout drops more expensive.
Among the changes the mode has brought with it is the addition of Redacted Weapons, leaving players wondering exactly what they are. We’ve got the lowdown below.
What are Warzone Redacted Weapons?
Put simply, Redacted Weapons are another rarity of gun that you can find in any game of Iron Trials, similar to the Common, Rare, and Legendary tags that will be familiar to players.
Redacted Weapons are unique because they come equipped with eight attachments, more than Raven Software has ever allowed in the normal Warzone mode.
While the extra attachments are far from a guaranteed win, they do give players who find them an advantage in firefights, as they have more buffed stats than the usual assortment of weapons.
How to find Redacted Weapons in Warzone
There’s no doubt that the sheer number of attachments will leave players itching to get their hands on one in their next game.
Unfortunately, there is no sure-fire way to get hold of a Redacted Weapon. They are found in ground loot – the same as any other gun scattered across Verdansk.
Their extra rarity means that they are most likely to drop out of the rare orange supply boxes found inside buildings, but this is by no means guaranteed every time.
They can also be seen lying on the floor in some cases, but hunting for supply crates with high rarity is the most likely way to find one.
Even though there is no method of ensuring you’ll stumble across a Redacted Weapon, players looking for an extra edge in battle should keep an eye out when looting up for any guns with this tag.
