World Series of Warzone Solo YOLO result
Once the Duos tournament had concluded, all of the players took part in a $100,000 winner takes all Solo match, and OpTic Scump took home the win.
Call of Duty World Champion and CDL pro player OpTic Scump was a relative underdog going into the Solo match, coming up against experienced Warzone veterans. But he clutched it up and bagged the $100k for playing a single game.
There were some stealthy and unconventional strategies deployed to get the win, with most of the surviving players rocking the Riot Shield. But Scump used the EM2 to gun down Warzone star Aydan in the final 1v1, securing the bag.
How to watch World Series of Warzone NA Duos: Stream & schedule
All of the tournament action was broadcast on the official Twitch Rivals stream embedded above on November 17 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM GMT.
Alternatively, every competitor also streamed their point of view during the tournament so viewers can watch the action from their favorite player’s POV.
Once all five of the Duos matches were over, all of the competitors then took part in the Solo YOLO event, where Scump took home the full $100K prize.
World Series of Warzone Duos format & scoring
There were five Captains in total, each being joined by 14 other Duos who played in their team. These Duos played in five private games with the winners, HusKerrs & Newbz, being crowned based on their eliminations and placement over the five matches.
Each kill gave a point, and that point was then multiplied by the placement, so winning a game without any kills wouldn’t net a significant score. The Duo with the most points won the Duos Cup, and then the Team with the most overall points earned a $1000 bonus.
Here’s a breakdown of how the score multiplier worked:
- 1st: 2x Point Multiplier
- 2nd – 15th: 1.5x Point Multiplier
- 16th+: 1x Point Multiplier
