Digital Foundry has released their tech analysis for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today. Yesterday, Sledgehammer Games confirmed that Advanced Warfare runs at native 1380×1080 on Xbox One, upscaled to 1080p; however, according to Digital Foundry, during certain campaign missions – where action isn’t intense – the game reaches a full native 1080p quality. The multiplayer portion of the game remains at 1380×1080 quality.

For PS4, the game runs at a native 1080p across the entire game, but in the campaign mode, it does suffer frame rate drops. The game falls betwee 50-60FPS, hits a low of almost 48FPS at some points in the campaign mission.

Digital Foundry’s final verdict:

Overall, the final game is a satisfying upgrade from the previous builds we’ve played on the Microsoft console. Up until now, the PlayStation 4 version remained an enigma. Running at 1080p, its presentation remains king of course, while Microsoft’s hardware only occasionally shifts up to that resolution, typically in less demanding areas.
