“AE4” and “AE4 Widowmaker” weapon now available for Xbox Season Pass owners

The new “AE4” directed energy assault rifle and it’s custom variant “AE4 Widowmaker” weapon is now available for Season Pass owners on Xbox One and Xbox 360. This new weapon will be available for non-Season Pass owners with Havoc DLC, which is expected to release in January on Xbox Live. Xbox 360 users, a new patch update went live earlier today that should’ve unlocked it. If you see it locked, then try a hard reset on the Xbox One by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

The AE4 combines a versatile firing mechanism with all-around movement speed and handling. In addition to the base weapon, the AE4 Widowmaker custom variant will also be included.

An exact date has not been announced yet for when Season Pass owners on PlayStation and PC can expect to receive this new weapon. We’ll update as we get more information on that.
