The Warzone and MW3 COR 45 Conversion Kit allows you to fire the weapon rapidly, but it blocks players from using the Akimbo attachment for the Handgun. However, players discovered a glitch to bypass that, creating a broken loadout that should be impossible to build.

On August 16, as the broken build was making the rounds on social media, the devs temporarily disabled the XRK IP-V2 attachment causing the issue. The quick response has effectively disabled the game-breaking loadout.

In addition, the devs also temporarily removed the Akimbo Rear Grip attachment for the Renetti, which was tied to a similar exploit.

To create the loadout, players needed the Cork and Screw Blueprint, which was available in the Season 4 Battle Pass. If you had it, you simply needed to equip it, remove all the attachments, add the Akimbo Rear Grip first, then three other attachments you want such as a Muzzle, Laser, and Magazine.

Once this was done, you’d select the Conversion Kit slot, hover over the XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit, and click the red tab that says “Locked.” This allowed you to get the attachment on the weapon along with all the others you have selected.

The exploit didn’t work on controller, as you needed to use a mouse to select the Locked section of the attachment tile. Console players were even connecting a mouse to their system to perform this step.

After being discovered, many popular Warzone content creators covered the glitch, showing off just how powerful it was. This likely caught the attention of the devs who swiftly moved to fix the glitch.

Season 5 Reloaded arrives on August 21, along with a major update for Call of Duty HQ, so look forward to the devs bringing more weapon buffs and nerfs to the game.
